Credit Union of Texas Supports Paris ISD’s Summer Reading Efforts with Bicycle Giveaway

The Credit Union of Texas helped Paris ISD conclude another successful season of its Cats on the Prowl Summer Mobile Library by sponsoring an exciting bicycle giveaway for student readers.
Throughout the summer, students had the opportunity to visit the mobile library or participate in on-campus reading activities. Each visit earned them an entry into a drawing for a brand-new bicycle, generously donated by the Credit Union of Texas.
In total, five bicycles were awarded to lucky readers, encouraging not only a love of books but also consistent participation in summer learning. The partnership helped keep students engaged, active, and excited about reading during the break.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Credit Union of Texas for their continued support of literacy and student success,” said Althea Dixon, Paris ISD Superintendent. “Programs like our Summer Mobile Library are only possible through strong community partnerships, and this sponsorship made a lasting impact.”
Paris ISD’s mobile library initiative has become a cherished summer tradition, bringing books and educational resources directly to neighborhoods to keep students reading all year long.
