Paris Independent School District is proud to announce that Michelle Wall, Kindergarten teacher at Aikin Elementary, has been selected by the community as the August Credit Union of Texas (CUTX) Teacher of the Month. This recognition program, sponsored by CUTX, allows community members to nominate and vote for outstanding educators who make a difference in the lives of Paris ISD students.

Wall was surprised with a $500 award from CUTX in recognition of her dedication and impact on students. In addition, The Chiropractic Associates/The Rub Club partnered with Paris ISD to honor Teacher of the Month winners by providing a complimentary one-hour massage.

“We’re excited to bring this program to Paris ISD and join the entire Paris community in recognizing hardworking teachers,” said Zach Saffle, CUTX Community Engagement Officer. “Since we opened our branch in Paris last year, we’ve worked closely with Paris ISD and seen firsthand the positive impact these teachers can have on the future success of their students and ultimately, the future of the community. For their tireless work each day, we look forward to celebrating them.”

Paris ISD extends its gratitude to both the Credit Union of Texas and The Chiropractic Associates/The Rub Club for supporting teachers and helping shine a spotlight on their invaluable contributions.
